11th International Symposium on Intelligent Distributed Computing
11 – 13 October 2017, Belgrade, Serbia
The technical program of the 11th International Symposium on Intelligent Distributed Computing (IDC 2017) will also include Special Sessions. Their main objective is to complement the regular program with new, challenging and emerging topics of particular interest in the field of intelligent distributed systems. Special Sessions focused on multi-disciplinary and cutting-edge topics are especially encouraged and welcome. All papers accepted for Special Sessions will be published in the IDC 2017 proceedings published by Springer in the Computational Intelligence Series.
Special Sessions proposals should be submitted in PDF by email to IDC 2017 General Chairs, Mirjana Ivanović (mira@dmi.uns.ac.rs) and Costin Bădică (cbadica@software.ucv.ro), and must include the following elements:
Special Sessions proposals will be evaluated based on the timeliness of the topic, the qualifications of the organizers, and the balance of the topics across the technical areas represented in the symposium. The procedure for the submission of Special Session papers is the same as for the regular papers, and it will be made through the IDC 2017 EasyChair. The authors are asked to indicate the Special Session title to which their paper is submitted. The technical reviewers for each Special Session paper will be members of the IDC 2017 Program Committee and qualified peer-reviewers nominated by the Special Session organizers. After a special session proposal is accepted, the organizers should create a Web page for the special session and notify the conference chairs of its URL. The organizers of the special session are also responsible for its publicity (e.g., for sending out call for papers).
